We honor and stand with our Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQ+ communities!
Black Lives Matter
It is time for deep systemic change. We are being called to follow the truth of our hearts and all come together to honor, assist, and usher in the tremendous healing the Black Lives Matter movement is asking of our communities, society, culture, country, and world. Every one of us, as a participant and contributor to society, has a role to play. There is opportunity to facilitate this change in our personal lives, in the work we offer to the world, in the spaces of our work environments, in the patterns of our consumption, and in how we choose to engage socially and politically. Folks of all identities and backgrounds are being asked to acknowledge not only that racial disparity has drastic negative effects on BIPOC people, but that it provides unearned privilege predominantly to White bodied people, and this issue requires recognition and action from us all.

As healers, we believe in facilitating love and compassion, and raising our collective consciousness and vibration for the benefit of all life.
If you have felt disconnected from this movement, we encourage you to invite yourself to become open to receiving, upholding, and enacting the life-affirming messages it holds. Looking at the realities of this disparity can be challenging, but is necessary and provides powerful healing for everyone. We have curated a collection of materials that can help you begin or expand on your personal journey of learning and growth which you will find below. Join us in developing our understanding of the issues facing our BIPOC community members today, about the history that has facilitated racial disparity in this country and globally, in developing strategies of dismantling systemic racism, and in learning about being actively anti-racist in our every day lives. |
Taking responsibility begins with a deep recognition of the discord that exists and an openness and commitment to learn and heal. Open your mind and heart and healing will follow. Our efforts, even small ones, are significant and powerful, and with continued commitment, add up to big change.
OUR COMMITMENT, VALUES & INTENTIONS
We ask all participants of group events to read through and agree to respect these values
- We actively listen and continue to learn about the lived experiences that participants of the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color community encountered historically, and continue to encounter;
- We are responsible for the personal work we do on ourselves to restructure the impact of internalized white body supremacy. It is not the responsibility of our BIPOC community members to teach us about discrimination on behalf their various identity intersections, or to expend any energy to help us work through emotions that come up as a result of doing this work;
- We recognize that our BIPOC community members have no expectation to expend any emotional labor, share or teach us anything unless they initiate, consent to, or choose to;
- We exhibit mindfulness and self-reflection around biases and stereotypes to prevent emotional harm that is often unintended, recognizing that the impact of our actions can have consequences despite our intentions;
- We acknowledge the privileges that white bodied people hold in various structures of the dominant culture and challenge the norms we have all been culturally steeped in by integrating changes in our understandings, beliefs, behaviors and thinking.
When we celebrate and fully honor the power, beauty, importance, and equality of another life, our own lives are subtly similarly affirmed. Genuine intention and awareness of our impact is part of the magic that triggers reciprocal healing.

We encourage you to take a moment, close your eyes and center yourself with three slow breaths as you open your heart and mind. Feel the connection that your heart has to your bloodline, to your community, to all life. Intend to be open to the words and energy of healing that will come through your learning. Invite that energy to inspire your actions and conversations for the highest good of all life.
